dr rose cotter : at the beginning of Dr. Rose looks normal, but when she gets cursed, she turns crazy.
Joel : at the beginning of the story, Joel looks indifferent to Dr. Rose, but when Dr. Rose asked Joel for help with what she was feeling, and finally he was willing to help investigate the problem.

dr madeline northcott: Dr Northcott only advances the plot by being skeptical of Rose.

4. Plot of the story:
Smile tells the story of Dr. Rose Cotter, a psychiatrist who experiences a series of strange events after treating a patient named Laura who brutally committed suicide in front of her. After the incident, Rose begins to be haunted by creepy smiling figures, which only she can see. The more Rose finds out, the more she realizes that there is a supernatural curse that threatens her life.
- Rising Action:
After witnessing the death of her patient, Rose begins to experience hallucinations, where people around her begin to show creepy smiles. She tries to ask for help from her fiancΓ©, coworkers, and family, but no one believes her. Rose discovers that several other people who have experienced similar things have all died within a week of experiencing traumatic events, just like she did. Rose's fear and paranoia increase as she tries to understand the origin of the entity that follows her.
- Climax :
The tension peak occurs when Rose learns that the only way to end the curse is to kill someone in front of witnesses, so that the entity will transfer to the witness. Rose, not wanting to hurt anyone else, decides to confront the entity herself. She returns to her childhood home, where her past trauma began, and comes face to face with the entity that appears as a large, scary figure.
- Falling Action :
After an intense mental and physical battle with the entity, Rose seems to have freed herself from the curse. She feels relieved and returns to her life. However, when she meets her ex-boyfriend, Joel, Rose realizes that everything was just an illusion and the entity is still following her. This realization brings Rose to a deeper point of mental destruction.
-Resolution (Resolution):
The film ends tragically when Rose is unable to fight the entity and finally gives up. Joel, who tries to help Rose, witnesses her death in a brutal way, signifying that the curse has now transferred to her and will continue.
5. Type of Conflict:
The main conflict in Smile is Man vs. Supernatural, where Rose must fight an unseen and incomprehensible evil force. There is also an element of Man vs. Self, as Rose grapples with her past trauma and the mental pressures of the entity, making her increasingly unable to distinguish between reality and hallucinations.
